How game night works
Create the game and name the players
Type in first names or pair names and choose whether you are playing solo or in partnerships. Ten seconds, and nobody else at the table has to create an account.
Score round by round
Add or subtract points from your phone after each hand, each turn or each game. The total recalculates and the ranking re-sorts straight away.
Put it on a screen if you have one
Optional, but if there is a TV in the room the short address will show the standings large. Nobody has to ask where we are between hands.
What actually replaces the paper
A mis-entry does not ruin the column
Undo reverses the last operation, and subtracting points fixes a whole round. Unlike a crossed-out sheet, the total stays correct without redoing the arithmetic from the top.
A built-in draw for who starts
Who deals, who goes first, who fetches the drinks: the draw is uniform and without replacement. It is a trivial feature, and it is still the first thing a table argues about.
No adverts, no player accounts
Free score keepers on the app stores are usually thick with banners. Here the other players install nothing and see nothing: they look at the screen or at your phone, and that is all.
Figures that stay in line
Scores use tabular figures, so a total going from 99 to 100 does not shift the columns. It is a small thing, and it is the difference between a table you read at a glance and one you have to re-read.

Keeping score at home costs nothing: the free plan covers it with no limit on the number of players. Paid plans only remove the on-screen strip and lift the two-game limit, which mainly matters to clubs and game cafés.

Does Scorofun know the rules of my game?
No. Scorofun counts the points you give it; it does not compute a contract or know what a bonus is worth. That is deliberate: a generic counter works for any game, whereas a specialised one only ever works for one.
Do I need a TV to use it?
No. Around a table your phone is enough, and the others glance at it when they want to check. Showing it on a TV is a bonus when the room has one, not a requirement.
Do the other players have to install anything?
No. If they want to follow their own score on their own phone they scan the QR and land on a web page with no account. Otherwise they do nothing at all, and you are the only person entering scores.
Can I enter negative scores?
Yes. Subtracting points is part of the score pad, which covers games where you lose points and any penalties the table agrees on. Every operation stays logged.
What if the Wi-Fi drops mid-game?
You keep entering points: they are held on your phone and sent on their own when the connection returns, never counted twice. Around a games table that is the common case — a holiday cottage, a back room, a badly covered corner of a pub.
Will I find my games again later?
Yes, as long as you are signed in. The history keeps finished games with their final standings, which is what lets you run a house championship over several weeks.
Are there adverts or hidden charges?
No. The free plan shows a discreet strip at the bottom of the TV display and nothing else: no banners, no interstitials, no account for players. Prices are listed on the pricing page with no automatic upgrade.
